Dalam islam orang yang dipilih menjadi pemimpin harus memiliki kriteria:

a. Bermain, bertaqwa

b. Jujur

c. Bijaksana, adil

d. Bertanggung jawab

e. Sifat yang dapat dipercaya, berkomitmen tinggi.

f. Selera humor tinggi

g. Aspirin dan berjiwa besar

 

yang harus dihindari pemimpin adalah:

a. sombong

b. egois

c. apatis

 

Long term thingking Leadership is about maximizing your followers’ well-being, not their comfort.

Leadership is about

first thinking

then deciding

followed by acting swiftly

and finally, reflecting

thinking – exploration

deciding – evaluation/selection

acting swiftly – edge

reflecting – analysis/introspection

 

All of the above are intensely intellectual activities.
